A film production company based in Frankfurt/Nuremberg and a subsidiary of the German arthouse distributor Grandfilm. Our first (co-)production, *TRENQUE LAUQUEN* (Laura Citerella), premiered in 2022. Thanks to long-standing relationships and experience distributing artistically ambitious films in Germany, Grandfilm Produktion is a pioneer in contemporary cinema despite its relatively short history. Driven by our passion for formally innovative films, we aim to support both promising new voices and established filmmakers—in and from Germany, Europe, and the Global South. Our films have been screened at various festivals, including Venice, IFFR, San Sebastián, and FIDMarseille.
